Compared with the 2017 version of the "Technical Outline", the title of the 2019 version has changed from "Technical Outline of Smart City Space-Time Big Data and Cloud Platform Construction" to "Technical Outline of Smart City Space-Time Big Data Platform Construction". Highlighted the focus of the latest version of the "Technical Outline"-spatio-temporal big data platform. At the same time, the Ministry of Natural Resources also emphasized in the notice that "the spatio-temporal big data platform is the basic support for the construction and operation of smart cities. The smart-city spatio-temporal big data platform is an important part of the digital China spatio-temporal information database and an important task for the transformation and upgrading of basic surveying and mapping . "
The importance of surveying and mapping work has also been greatly stressed in the new edition; guiding the natural resources authorities of various regions to carry out the construction and application of smart city spatio-temporal big data platforms has now become one of the important tasks of the Ministry of Natural Resources; "Cloud Platform" is the part that changes the most in the content, for example: in the classification of cloud platforms, it is changed from the previous version of "generalized platform", "specialized platform" and "personalized platform" (according to the classification of application objects) . There are two types of "desktop platform" and "mobile platform" (according to the classification of application scenarios); in addition, natural management service systems are also added to typical applications.
